Lunazul Tequila, the premium tequila brand known for its hand-harvested 100% blue weber agave, has launched a new advertising campaign titled “Look to Luna.” This campaign emphasizes the brand’s belief that those who appreciate premium craftsmanship and casual enjoyment “Look to Luna” when choosing tequila. Lunazul Tequila remains additive-free and stands by its motto: “where tradition outshines trends.” It is backed by over 250 years of expertise from the Beckmann family.
The “Look to Luna” campaign will be supported by a significant media buy. This will occur across connected TV, programmatic, and social media advertising. ESPN, HULU, HBO Max, and Disney+ will feature their ads. The campaign showcases Lunazul Blanco enjoyed neat and in various cocktails. VIP Influencer Experience and Celebrity Partnership
To kick off the new campaign, Lunazul hosted a “Treat & Retreat” 3-day experience for a diverse group of 10 VIP influencers at Cedar Lake Estates in upstate New York. The event featured chef-prepared meals paired with Lunazul cocktails. There will be a candle-making class, a mixology workshop, and free time to enjoy the resort’s amenities. Each influencer left with a deeper understanding of Lunazul’s heritage and quality. Additionally, Lunazul is partnering with Emmy-award winning talk show host and Grammy-award winning singer Kelly Clarkson. She will feature Lunazul on her show starting this October.

Founded by Francisco Beckmann Senior, a seventh-generation descendent of the Beckmann family, Lunazul Tequila was established in 1992 with the creation of Tierra de Agaves. Francisco’s son, Jorge Beckmann, became president in 2005, and since 2007, Master Tequilero Francisco Quijano has ensured the brand’s consistent quality by personally tasting every batch. Lunazul reached the 1.5 million case mark in early 2024.
Lunazul Tequila Sustainability Practices
Lunazul’s commitment to sustainability is evident throughout its production process. The distillery employs agave fiber composting, solar power, and wastewater reclamation. The composting initiative enriches the soil with natural nutrients, while the solar power efforts aim to transform the distillery to operate entirely on solar energy. The state-of-the-art water treatment plant cleans and filters wastewater from the distillation process, which is then used to irrigate the agave fields.
