Besides renaming its whisky ranges, the Bladnoch distillery has introduced two new single malts to its Heritage Collection. Two new whiskies replaced Bladnoch’s 11-year-old and 14-year-old whiskies in the Heritage Collection: a 13-year-old and a 16-year-old.
With these two new releases, Bladnoch will complement its existing aged expressions, Bladnoch’s 19-year-old and 30-year-old. This development will be available in all global markets, in line with Bladnoch’s maturing stocks.
Listing its 13-year-old, the single malt is matured in Bourbon whiskey barrels and is bottled at 46.7% ABV. A nose of precious florals, honey, and fresh apples complements the palate of floral Parma Violets, fresh-cut apples, and wood spices.

Having matured in oloroso Sherry casks, this 16-year-old Bladnoch displays hints of wood spices, raisins, and sultanas on the nose. It trails with fruit cake flavors of raisins, dried fruits, cinnamon, and chocolate on the palate.
With the renaming of the Bladnoch Classic Collection to the Twinned Cask Collection, Bladnoch’s core range is being renamed as part of the distillery’s ongoing period of growth since it was purchased in 2015 by Australian businessman David Prior.
Notably, the new non-age statement whisky collection includes Vinaya, Liora, Samsara, and Alinta. The collection’s name reflects the sense of marriage between the two cask types. All four expressions will remain unchanged.
Master distiller Dr Nick Savage commented on the new collections. “The introduction of the Heritage Collection and the Twinned Cask Collection is an evolution of our core portfolio of Lowland single malts, and I’m proud to unveil our latest age-statement whiskies as part of this work.
“This is an exciting milestone in our brand development which reflects Bladnoch’s unwavering commitment to excellence, ensuring that we can continue to share our maturing whisky stocks with our fans around the world as the distillery grows and develops.”
