I love the idea. I too have been collecting my bottelcaps but i’ve threaded then and painted then turning caps to curtains. It’s always an amusing activity when you’ve had too much of a great beer!! Cheers and happy new year….

I think a good number of them are from other people, but probably not more than 10% or so. I’ve been to some beer-worthy locations, and toted back quite a few bottles as “souveniers.” As a result, I built up a bit of a backlog of beer, and have been really working on that the last couple of months which also skewed the results some.

Congratulations Dave! I wonder how many of those caps were actually your consumption, and how many were form the rest of us? As I recall we had at least 2 events at your home this year (IdiotFest and the backyard BBQ early in the fall). IdiotFest we did a lot of keg and mini-keg beers, but I think we had quite a few bottles when we grilled that day. Here’s to 2009!
